Jim Simons

Chief Investment Officer & Partner with Burkholder and Company

Mr. Simons is Chief Investment Officer and Partner with Burkholder and Company, Inc. He is responsible for acquisitions and finance for both real estate and operating companies. In addition to his responsibilities with Burkholder and Company, he is heavily involved in an advisory or principal capacity with various turnaround and startup opportunities within real estate, healthcare and telecommunications.

Prior to joining Burkholder and Company, Mr. Simons was Vice President of Lehman Brothers, with a focus on mid market merchant and investment banking, and asset management business.

He was previously founder and operating partner for RS Holdings, Inc. in Ft. Lauderdale and Destin, FL which held or advised a broad spectrum of businesses. Mr. Simons has start up, turnaround and expansion experience in both public and private companies and has experience as a principal, operator or advisor in logistics/distribution, investment management and financial products distribution, real estate, private equity, and healthcare. He is a former Army officer and Bronze Star winner. Mr. Simons is a graduate of the University of Georgia.

He lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and two sons.

Kevin Riddett

President & Chief Executive Officer, Pirelli North America, Inc.

Kevin Riddett was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Pirelli North America, Inc. on June 1, 2003. Pirelli North America, Inc. includes Pirelli Broadband Solutions N.A., a provider of Telecom direct access and optical components and Pirelli Tire LLC, a producer and reseller of high performance tires.

Previously, Mr. Riddett served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pirelli North America, Inc. which in addition to current companies included Pirelli Cables and Systems Telecom, Pirelli Cables and Systems Energy, Pirelli Installation and Submarine Systems with total sales in excess of 1.5 billion dollars.

Before assuming his most recent appointment, Mr. Riddett was Chief Executive Officer and General Manager (Direttore Generale) of Pirelli Cables and Systems Telecom one of the largest worldwide producers of optical fiber, optical cables and optical components, with 18 production facilities throughout the world and sales in excess of 2.5 billion dollars.

Between 1988 and 1996 prior to joining Pirelli Mr. Riddett held a variety of leadership roles including VP manufacturing, VP Sales, and General Manager of the Products Group culminating in appointment as CEO and President of Union Switch and Signal a publicly traded company providing fail safe software systems, automation and control to the Mass Transit systems and railroads worldwide.

Mr. Riddett has served on various community boards including the S.C. Chamber of Commerce, Boy Scouts of America, and Palmetto Business Forum. He was a founding member of the S.C. Council on Competitiveness. He currently serves on the board of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Riddett holds a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Oswego. He is an Eagle Scout and coaches soccer for a Christian youth league. He also holds an optical cable patent.

R. Eric McCarthey

President, 7-Eleven Global Business Team, The Coca-Cola Company

Eric McCarthey is President of the 7-Eleven Global Business Division with The Coca-Cola Company. Appointed to this position in July 2004, he directs value creation strategies, business system design, product and service innovation, revenue growth, and supply chain support for one of the Coca-Cola system's largest and most complex customers.

With approximately 28 years of business, marketing development, operations, and general management experience, Eric has significantly contributed to the development of Cola’s sales and global business system, establishing innovative customer and commercial leadership capabilities, consumer marketing initiatives, and increasing growth opportunities for Coca-Cola.

Eric joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1981 starting out as a territory sales manager. Throughout his tenure he has held numerous other positions including division marketing director and deputy division president for the Nordic and North Eurasia division, vice president and managing director of the global Burger King account team, and most recently senior vice president of sales and marketing of the North American foodservice division.

Eric received his MBA in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado. Eric consults with Emory University Center for Relationship Marketing and served as a board member, Audit Committee Chair and Lead Director, of Global Imaging Systems (NASDQ:GISX) and led the merger with Xerox Corporation in 2007. He is currently a Board Member of Standard Register (NYSE:SR), and Chairman of the International Franchise Association Diversity Institute.

Eric is an accomplished author with published articles in "Inside the Minds", a special book publication on "The Art of Sales" by Aspatore Books and has an article that was published in the May, 2005 issue of Leadership Excellence called High-Impact Boards. He has also published articles dealing with creating high-performance teams.

He is an avid photographer, reader, skier, and runner. He is married and has a daughter 17 years old.

Lisa Fiondella

Senior Vice President - Product & Business Development, Fiserv

Lisa Fiondella has been a senior executive and business leader for over ten years and has spent her career in both the financial services and information services industries. She is recognized by her colleagues and clients as an insightful business professional who is dedicated to providing real-world business and technology solutions to real-world problems in the areas of risk management and marketing services.

Lisa began her career with First Union Bank which provided a solid financial services foundation and valuable knowledge of bank operations. It was here that Lisa gained a deep understanding of the significance and dynamics of the customer relationship to the bank.

Lisa left banking to begin a near twenty year career with Equifax, one of three major information services providers in the US. During her tenure at Equifax she held numerous positions from sales and sales management, to operations and technology to business unit leadership roles in technology solutions and mortgage services. Lisa led the Decision Power business for nearly six years and was responsible for its growth from under $20M to over $100M. She then lead the development of Equifax’s next generation decision platform, InterConnect, followed by a leadership role in mortgage services where she established a settlement services company. Lisa has a deep understanding of risk management and the role of both information services and analytics in the financial services marketplace.

In early 2007 Lisa joined Fiserv to help establish the company’s presence in Risk Management including fraud, compliance and risk services. She was instrumental in laying the foundation for what is now Fiserv Integrated Risk Management, the company’s first business unit focused primarily on risk management offerings for the financial services market. Lisa is now responsible for a new growth division leveraging data and analytics to provide enhanced risk solutions to Fiserv clients.
