Tom Gordon

Chief Executive Officer

Meet Tom Gordon. Tom has spent thirty-three (33) years in the consumer information and analytics field working for Equifax for twenty-one (21) years and four (4) years leading Carreker/ now Fiserv’s international white collar crime practice. Tom has been part of three start-up organizations prior to joining Vue Logic. The latest was DepotPoint in Seattle, WA where he is retained as a consultant. Tom has now joined Vue Logic as its CEO.

Tom brings experience in launching early stage companies from business plans and funding to exits. During Tom’s tenure at Equifax he ran the credit bureau of Atlanta, led credit marketing and scoring and is a certified credit counselor. At Equifax Tom also led National Decision Systems, a GIS firm that specialized in retail site selection. He also led Equifax Check Services where his team approved checks at the point of sale for all major retailers in the US, England, France and Australia using advanced data analytics. Tom then became CEO of TRADE Inc. an international data reporting company with offices in Hong Kong and Tampa.

At DepotPoint Tom was involved with providing web-based software to lenders and mortgage servicers to facilitate the handling of defaulted mortgage loans. He is a member of REOMAC, a major industry organization and has worked with federal agencies during the 2008/09 major housing crisis.

Tom and his wife Kitty have moved thirteen (13) times in his career. Too many times according to Kitty. They have settled in Deep River, CT with their son Alex, who is completing his masters at Southern Connecticut State University.

Tom is an avid kayaker and can be found on the Connecticut River or the sound most summer weekends. Tom is a member of the loan committee for the Middlesex County Revitalization Commission representing Deep River. Tom joined Vue Logic to fulfill a career long vision of combining data, marketing and analytics to provide a real time optimized experience for both consumers and businesses. The intent here is to change the rules of the game for direct marketing in a Web 2.0 world.

Ron Garmon

Chief Operating Officer

Ron brings over twenty (20) years of international executive management experience to the VueLogic team. Ron’s brings extraordinary depth and understand to the issue of managing and monetizing consumer data in privacy protected environments. Ron’s commitment to improving consumers experience and a client’s profitability while ensuring data privacy are foundational to VueLogic’s solutions.

Prior to founding VueLogic, Ron served as Senior Vice President of Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX), where he led operations in twenty-one (21) countries across five (5) continents. In his role as Senior Vice President his assignments included – International CIO, President Equifax Secure, President Equifax Check Services International and Chief Operating Officers Equifax Check Services.

Ron currently serves on the Board of Directors for Georgia Family connection Partnership (www.gafcp.org) and the Board of Advisors for BrainLike Inc. (www.brainlike.com)

Jim Deffenbaugh

Chief Technology Officer

Jim has 25 years experience leading technology organizations in high volume, data sensitive environments. Prior to joining VueLogic, Jim spent 20 years with Equifax where he most recently led the Global Infrastructure Outsourcing team responsible for the outsourcing and management of 9 data centers across the globe. At Equifax, Jim led the Global Technology Operations, the application development team for a $300 million business unit within Equifax and was responsible for global remediation of all application systems for Equifax. Prior to joining Equifax Jim led technology organizations for Marathon Oil/US Steel and Harper Grace Hospital/Detroit Medical Center.

Jim has an undergraduate from Bowling Green State University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Data Professional (CDP).

Becky Champion

Director IT Development

Becky has over 20 years experience in statistical model implementation, programming, data and process control and fraud investigations. Specific positions have been as Application Developer, Programmer and Project Manager in a wide variety of business applications. Prior to joining VueLogic, Becky spent 23 years with Equifax, extensively as a senior programmer and consultant in the area of model implementation. Prior to joining Equifax, Becky worked in the banking industry as a staff auditor.

Becky has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from University of Phoenix.

Glenn Bailey

Director Modeling and Applied Statistics

Glenn Bailey has over 20 years experience as a practitioner of operations research and analytics in government, business, and academia. Glenn concurrently serves as a consultant with VueLogic, and held previous positions as the Director of Modeling, Research and Design at Delta Technology, Inc., and Assistant Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Operational Sciences at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). His technical leadership in the decision sciences (with a special emphasis on statistical analysis, simulation, and optimization) has provided millions of dollars in cost savings and revenue increases for numerous projects in a variety business and government venues. More recently, Glenn has been extensively involved with the design and implementation of SAS-based statistical analyses and related production systems. Prior to his analyst career Glenn served as an Air Force pilot, with operational experience as a C-5 Aircraft Commander and T-37 Instructor Pilot.

A graduate of the United Stated Air Force Academy, Glenn received his Masters in Operations Research from AFIT and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Glenn is published in the following journals Management Science, European Journal of Operations Research, Interfaces, Simulation, Naval Research Logistics and has presented at over twenty professional conferences.
