Ron Garmon

Chief Executive Officer

Ron Garmon has been a senior executive and business leader in the financial services industry in the U.S. and international markets for over 20 years. He has been a key player in transforming and influencing the strategic direction for large organizations.

Ron currently serves on the Board of Advisors of Geospatial Metrics LLC, Brand Movers Inc. and BrainLike Surveillance Inc.

Prior to founding VueLogic Ron enjoyed a 20 year career with Equifax Inc., most recently serving as Chief Information Officer – International, leading technology across Europe and South America.

Previously, Ron successfully transformed Equifax Secure, the Consumer Identity and Digital Certificate division of Equifax. His leadership created significant growth in revenue, profit and customer base and brought the startup division to cash flow break even within 18 months, and subsequently sold the Digital Certificate business to GeoTrust Inc. He served on the Board of Advisors of GeoTrust Inc. until its sale to Verisign in August 2006.

In an earlier role, Ron led the successful expansion of Equifax’s International Check Warranty and Authorization division. Under his leadership the business increased revenues and profitability, becoming the number one player in the European and Asia Pacific markets.

Ron holds a BBA from North Georgia College, a Juris Doctor from Woodrow Wilson College of Law and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Sharon Carter

Chief eXperience Officer

Sharon has 15 years experience in marketing, communications and technology with an emphasis on experience design - creating digital experiences in the mediums of radio, video and the web. Prior to joining VueLogic she has been involved in the conceptual development and design of interactive projects for clients such as Home Depot, Equifax, AutoTrader, BankRate, Earthlink, eBay, Sharebuilder, RealEstate.com and LendingTree. Sharon’s passion for interactive media drives her to continually hone her skills and understanding of the interactive user experience with focus on visual design, information design, web standards, and development. She holds a Master of Information Technology degree with a focus on business application development, making her one of those right & left brain people.

Jim Deffenbaugh

Chief Technology Officer

Jim has 25 years experience leading technology organizations in high volume, data sensitive environments. Prior to Joining VueLogic Jim spent 20 years with Equifax most recently led the Global Infrastructure Outsourcing team which was responsible for the outsourcing and management of 9 data centers across the globe. Prior Jim led Equifax’s Global Technology Operations and immediately prior Jim led the application development team for a $300 million business unit within Equifax and was responsible for global remediation of all application systems for Equifax. Prior to joining Equifax Jim lead technology organizations for Marathon Oil/US Steel and Harper Grace Hospital/Detroit Medical Center.

Jim has an undergraduate from Bowling Green State University and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Data Professional (CDP).

Patricia Hughes

Executive Vice President, Business Development

Patricia Hughes has overall business development responsibility for VueLogic, coordinating marketing, sales and customer support services. Prior to joining the founding team at VueLogic, Patricia was in a Global Business Development role with SkillSoft Corporation, managing key Fortune 500 international accounts, including AT&T, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, McKesson and GlaxoSmithKline .

Her prior experience includes, Business Development for Cap Gemini’s Telecommunications practice where she developed business plans and directed consulting activities to meet telecommunications client requirements. Her strengths include delivering enterprise level value propositions and managing go-to-market partnerships. Patricia has also held senior Business Development positions for Concentra, now a division of Oracle and General Electric’s Calma Division.

Ms. Hughes is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Exchange, LEXCI Circle 2 and serves on the board of the Lassiter High School soccer program.
