Privacy Statement
Consumer Data Privacy is a foundational value for VueLogic®. We believe that every consumer is entitled to have their data used in the way that they intend and that creates a greater value for them.
The technology that we employ in the delivery of our services is architected around these foundational values. Our technology affords our clients and their customers with two levels of protection.
The first level of protection is at the client level. Our clients have the option of participating in the PowerVUE® XChange or not. If a client chooses not to participate in the PowerVUE® XChange none of their data is used in the creation of industry segment (cross domain) PowerVUE® Score or PowerVUE® Profile. Their data is used exclusively in the creation of the PowerVUE® Score and PowerVUE® Profile used for their customers.
The second level is at the consumer level. All privacy flags established by the consumer with our client are passed to VueLogic® and stored in the consumer’s record. There are a variety of consumer choices with respect to privacy from total opt out to total opt in and several degrees in between. These elections are the first screening criteria in determining how a consumer’s information is used the development of their PowerVUE® Score and Profile. Additionally the flag is returned as a data attribute when the consumers name is returned from PowerVUE® Screen.
Data Privacy is a key component of our client engagement process. During this engagement process we work with our client to establish an understanding of the privacy intent of our clients and establish the proper procedures to ensure that the correct data is recorded.
Why Should a Client Opt In?
A client should consider participating in the PowerVUE® XChange if they want to understand better their customer’s preferences across multiple domains within their industry segment. Often consumers are somewhat myopic in their monetization utilizing a site for a specific purpose (“I always buy shorts here.”) and not understanding the breadth and depth of the sites offering. By utilizing aggregated cross domain data your organization has the opportunity to create a uniquely personal offer to the consumer at the time of interaction resulting in both a higher conversion rate and higher customer satisfaction.
Why Should a Consumer Opt In?
A consumer should consider opting in if they want to reduce the clutter that surrounds their current on-line experience and replace it with relevant content and offers unique to them. If you prefer purchasing at a discount wouldn’t you spend more at a site the consistently gives you a discount on merchandise you want as opposed to offering free or reduced shipping? Also, VueLogic® does not receive or store any credit related data such as Social Security Number, Credit Card Number or Checking Account Number.
